What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

I don't think so if your boy is an existing child, but you really must tell your solicitor. They can't do their best for you if they don't know your true situation.

Whether you have to sell will largely depend on what is best for the children...if you have an intention to live permanently with your boyfriend you are under an obligation to disclose this asap

No doubt your boyfriends income will assist your ability to raise funds to pay off ex.

Tell your solicitor everything - he can only help you if you do.
