I've just wrote back to my x's solicitor and feel alot more confident after reading everyones post, thank you for all your encouragement.

I'm still awaiting my Decree Nisi, how long does it take? I just feel fed up with all this and want it over. There are times when it really gets me down and I just want to hide somewhere. But when I read everyones post here, it gives me hope and the stamina to see this through.

Well in a straight forward divorce i.e. no long drawn out arguments it is possible to do it in 6 months.
