Single Parent Holidays

Hiya

Can anyone recommend any decent, tax credit friendly, single parent tour operators/holidays? My children are b14 and g11, and I'd like to go somewhere a bit active as opposed to sitting on a beach or by the pool everyday, although the odd day to do that would be good.

I tried this thread about a month ago, only had one response and that was for 'for the people who dont do cruises' - can't remember the name, but they were too expensive anyway! Good luck with this try - will be keeping an eye on it to see if anything suitable comes up for me and my kids (10 & 6).

I put "single parent holidays" in to google and got loads of websites. To many to list here but its worth reading the article highlighting the top ten on the Times online travel website. mush

I would just love to go somewhere and not have all the 2.4 families looking at me with pity!

My parents divorced when I was very young, and my mother joined something called Gingerbread, dont know if its still going - maybe we need a new updated version of this or something.. call it Granarybread ... or maybe not!
