What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

Hi
background history - ex2b is paying the mortgage still on house and brings home about 2400 a month.
He only has 800 rent on his flat and shares with the tart so presumably she pays half as it is joint tenancy.
He pays me not a penny else for the kids food or clothes or anything, but i can survive if he pays mortgage.
My question is, I can't really afford piano and swimming lessons any more for the kids. This is so unfair I think - I never wanted him to go, and the kids are now going to have to suffer even more.

I pay half of any activities so the kids can still do the same things. Have you asked him if he will contribute half towards them?

Nice of you monitor, maybe you could have a little word with my ex who seems to think you can bring children up on fresh air.

I have asked, yes. He said he doubted he could afford to, and I should ask him mum as she has plenty of money.

I would love to help ladies but I have enough sh*t with my ex2b. She seems to think I'm the golden goose.
