Firstly I am Ladybelle now, I changed my name from Agoraphobic Annie ..... I didnt like that name and after someone mentioned being recognised, I thought I would be more 'anonymous' LOL
Anyway .... a friend of mine in Canada says, over there, all Divorce is a matter for public record ?? So anyone can look up to see what reason for the divorce was ? It all goes on a Court record. And anyone, future employers ? or anyone can access this record.
Do we have such a thing here ? Is there a public record for divorces ? And the reasons ?? So when I file for adultery against soon 2bx - will it show as that ? She speculated that if it did ? he is the sort that might not want such a thing in public ?? so he might not want me to divorce him for that and might want to wait the 2 years for separation ?
I don;t have any idea I am affraid.
I didn;t think anything to do with it was public record though.
Thought it was just between the two and the courts.... but I am rubbish on these things, just saw you hadnt been replied to and didnt want to ignore your post.
LOL I know, but I didnt want to jump in and have people think I was jumping in without introducing myself hehe
If the information is within the court though, is that still accessible for anyone to apply for ? Or is what goes on in Court secret ? I am sorry for so many questions, it was just something I hadnt thought of or had cause to think of before.
It doesnt bother me in the slightest if it is available, but just curious now.
