Well I knew that it wasnt going to be easy, but never this hard. Things had been getting worse and I was concerned about tonight as he left an answer machine message that made me feel that he was going todo something.

Well he announced his presence by driving his car through the wooden gates at the front, out 5 y old daughter was with me, thankfully my 9y old was at my moms, so i grabbed her and ran upstairs as he and his dad were there trying to kick the front door in, dialled 999 and heard the wrough iron 6 ft high side gates being broken, and the back door being kicked in, had to lock us in the bedroom, daughter has autism and she was just numb. Was terrified, thankfully they sent 2 patrols. And he has been told that if he needs to collect anything to call police to come here with him. And that from now on things to be talked via solicitors.

Thank god our son wasnt here, he also has autism and that would have damaged him so much seeing his dad and grandpa doing this. When police finally left my little girl started to cry and wont leave my side even following me to the loo. How the hell can they do that to a child?

Police filled a domestic form and i will call sol in the morning, i know he hasgone but i am so scared, how do things get to this stage?

Sorry for waffling on, guess i need to get it out of my head

Oh Twinks, I am so sorry. It must have been so disturbing for your daughter, and so frightening for you. But he has gone, and you have good evidence of his violence, with a police report and police concern, so you can keep him away now.

Good luck!
Sadie

That's awful, I hope you are alright. Is there someone you know who perhaps could stay with you overnight?

Twinks, you have done all the right things. Thanks goodness you had the presence of mind to ring the police so quickly. I hope that both your daughter and you were not too traumatized by the event. His father too? Terrifying you and his grandchildren? What goes through their minds? Well done twinks for getting through it.
Take care
Mike

Just an update. The police called yesterday morning and the domestic violence unit and they came over and installed a panic alarm including one i have to wear.

Sat there while he was explaining how it works and just buckled and thought how the hell did it get to this.

Havent heard from him or his dad, glad, but angry that he hasnt bothered to wonder if the kids are ok.

Daughter is still numb and wont talk, and is back to sleeping with the light on.

Son is all over the place, and i amnot far behind him, i am jumping at every noise.
