Making financial claim twenty years after divorce. Ex has three properties that he has undervalued bu a total of approximately 80K I have a valuation for a property he valued at 90k that is actually 125k. He has three properties. Should I mention this at next hearing (second one) or does it look petty? Should I mention it in my offer document(we have to submit offers to each other before next hearing)
I don't think the undervaluation is petty, although its not an exact science. Perhaps point out this difference in valuations in an attempt to agree first, if not agreed you can go with your valuation or the 50% point in the offer.
