Do you need help sorting out a fair financial settlement?
Our consultant service offers expert advice and support to help you reach agreement on a fair financial settlement quickly, and for less than a quarter of the cost of using a traditional high street solicitor.
Hi I wonder if anyone can give advice.
I am doing this myself and have completed my Form E and exchanged with my soon to be ex Solicitor.
I have questions to pose to his solicitor as we are trying to come to a reasonable agreement if possible LOL! Is there a form I need to complete or can I just pose the questions via a letter?
Is there a time limit I have to do this by?
Has anyone used a good solicitor that they would recommend as will eventually need one.
Is this a voluntary exchange or are you in the court process??
If you are in the court process there is a timetable set out in the notice of first appointment.
If voluntary there are no time frames as such. You need to be satisfied that you have full and frank financial disclosure.
If you want help to get this you can use the service offered by this site. We also offer a fixed price legal financial consultation to help you to work out what a fair settlement would be once you have all the information. I would suggest as well as the information in Form E you also each get an assessment of your mortgage capacity and find details of suitable alternative properties.
