What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Do you need help sorting out a fair financial settlement?

Our consultant service offers expert advice and support to help you reach agreement on a fair financial settlement quickly, and for less than a quarter of the cost of using a traditional high street solicitor.

Ok..so what do we wikimates really think of our fellow-divorce 'victim' Heather Mills? Is she a money grabbing calculating nutter or...could it be that she's a victim of having been married to and stitched up by a popular multi-millionaire british hero???
:silly:

PS- all opinions are personal and do not reflect..... blah blah!!!

Heather and I have a few things in common:

We're both married to successful Musicians: (OK, so mines not as big-league as Sir Paul) but he is out on the road tonight with a Big name. (Sorry not saying!) Big popular person though!

Also; Heather married a Widow (as I did) and is a victim of society thinking that her marriage was a betrayal to St.Lindas memory.

Also Heather has walked form an Abusive marriage (good on her!) and she states that Paul confessed to violence to Linda.

I'm not going to comment on the money thing. She has a child with him, (me and ex don't!)

I don't care for her, (don't know her) but I can understand the unique difficulties of marrying a Widower.
However; he needs to drop the 'puppy-dog' innocence, and stop playing the 'widow' card!

Paul is a nations sweetheart so to speak and quite frankly I think he and lindas kids are wicked to heather
ok she may not be squeaky clean . but she will get what entitled too and will equate to what he has.. there is no difference than us surely just few more "noughts" here and there.
Anyone going through this crap is to be pitied
More so when you have to answer to a bloody nation.. flipping heck form E was enough publicity for me!!

My 'guess' (as to why lawyers may have sacked her) is probably because they now think she's a liability! (For future Business) She is very, very high-profile Princess Diana was extremely high-profile; and her settlement was undisclosed. Descreet!
However HMMcC is rumoured to have turned down £50m ...that doesn't sound too shabby and offer, but if she refuses; they lose! And if they lose her case, they'll probably not pick up too many more major-league divorces.

My guess is they got-out-when-the-going-was-good! They've made their money stringing the Case out; they couldn't have benefite much more from her surely? How much more can there be to do once the he-said-she-said coswollop is outta the way?

Just speculating! :)

The only thing that makes me laugh in all this is where does she think the back stabbing, back biting bitching going to get her?
So he wouldnt let her use a bed pan, so he called her a one legged bitch, so he pushed her into the bath? Blah blah blah!
It makes not one iota of a difference in our Great British Divorce Law, CONDUCT IS NOT AN ISSUE!

For her to find that out its cost so far in Lawyers fees, what did she say? 1 million pounds? Now she is going to represent herself............maybe she found WIKIVORCE and decided if we can all do it and make a better job then so can she! I'll represent her or help her for a couple of grand!
So hey Heather if your reading this gimme a shout! My mobile number is 0753295126

Personally I dont like either of them! But then again I dont know either of them personally either!

Kind ones
Louise

P.S. if you ring the above telephone number please be aware you will be charged at £16 per minute! Plus VAT

Here here Louise!!!

Oh and by the way can I be your Mrs. Ten percenter!!! I could use £200 quid at the moment!!

What I don't get is that she keeps saying how do we know she wants his money?? How ridiculous is that?? If thats the case why is she still fighting??

If she doesn't want his money why don't they just wrap this thing up once and for all, get the child care and maintenance sorted and get this case finished? Why? Well how stupid is that of course she wants his money.......she'd be stupid not to!! Just think 50 mill I'd be made up! In fact I think i'd be made up for £50K right now..........

............oh all right then I'll stick to earning me £200 quid when Louise acts for her and gets her £2K!!!

Either that or I'll fight yer for the business so Heather my number is 0208 734 1234 err oops no hold on thats Harrods isn't it?? ha ha ha

Brilliant if she does self-rep!!!

One million could have put a few hospitals up in Africa.
The reason she can demand more; is the stupidity of the current divorce system that gives little guidelines, and often becomes a 'Battle-of-wills' before the winner is announced.

Heather get your ass here; and we'll collectively help you!
