Break-up songs can make me feel sad but not where any ex is concerned. And I can't relate happy love songs to them either. It's strange but maybe it's because age and experience have made me realise, it wasn't real love! Make sense?

Anyway, you've got me started on music, so here are a few of my favourites:

What's Going On - Marvin Gaye

Let's Get it On - Marvin Gaye

Kiss and Say Goodbye - The Manhattans

I Can't Give You Anything but My Love - The Stylistics

I Wanna Get Next to You - Rose Royce

Natural High - Bloodstone

Loving You is Mellow - Major Harris

Oh Girl - The Chi Lites

The Thrill Has Gone - BB King

Lucille - BB King

Three Little Birds - Bob Marley and the Wailers

There are just too many great songs to mention. Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve was a great track and Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran is a lovely song too.

Bubblegum, don't know if you know this one but if you don't, have tissues ready. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. Beautifully sung by a lady who had an amaizing voice:

Antumn Leaves - Eva Cassidy

Wow, there are some great songs here!
It's amazing how much music can help and how the same song can connect with different people in different ways. I have quite a varied taste in music and a lot depends on my mood. I'll be adding a few more to my playlist now thanks to you guys!

They're not always break-up songs but help with the emotional roller-coaster journey in any case.

Jar of hearts -Christina Perri
Part of Me - Katy Perry
Take a bow - Rihanna
Ironic - Alanis Morissette
It's too late - Carol King
In the air tonight - Phil Collins
Fix you - Coldplay
Send my love - Adele
Don't - Ed Sheeran
Here comes the sun - The Beatles
Only love can hurt like this - Paloma Faith
Imagine - John Lennon
Don't worry be happy - Bobby McFerrin
Heartbreaker - Mariah Carey ft. Jay-Z
Lean on me - Bill Withers
Dancing on my own - Calum Scott
Put your record on - Corinne Bailey Rae
Bulletproof - La Roux

...Well that ended up being a lot longer than intended lol

B xx

@MrPositive :
I'm definitely nicking some of those songs!
Eva Cassidy had a beautiful voice; I love her version of True colours. You just can't go wrong with a bit of Marvin Gaye and Bob Marley eitherB).

Yep, Marvin and Bob will be playing me out when I check out - but not for a while yet!

Music's one of the many things that makes life good.
