Book title? was created by elizadoolittle
A couple of days ago someone posted a book recommendation and now I can''t find it. Someone had mentioned the book runaway husbands and then referred to a second one which had helped. From memory the title contained the word renew or something beginning with R. Sorry to be so vague. But if anyone can help, please do because my memory fails and I am tired of trawling through threads looking for the reference. Thanks x

Was it the one Pasty39 recommend in her post?

Rebuilding your life when your relationship ends.

Hi elizadoolittle,

''Runaway Husbands ''is by Vikki Stark and I think you are thinking about ''Rebuilding when your relationship ends'' by Fisher and Alberti, both can be purchased on Amazon.

Take care for now FoS x

Thank you both, I think that''s the one.

Runaway husbands I have. I''m finding some of these books too upsetting to read actually (like some of the posts here) and anyway I can''t really concentrate to read anything these days but I''ll give it a try. The only one I''ve got thru so far is when your lover is a liar which made some sense of my feelings of insanity but seemed mainly to be for people whose lying partners wanted another chance. I suppose I should be grateful in a way that mine doesn''t.

Chin up everyone and thanks for your support x

Hi Eliza,

I couldn''t read anything for about a year after separation , even a magazine. There just wasn''t any space in my brain to put the words even though mental escape is what I craved the most. 2 years on, I still struggle a bit but can read more and more as time goes on.

Tell you what I do find extraordinary though, I always fall asleep after reading emails from my solicitor and cannot really respond until I have. They exhaust me. Guess it''s the stress.

You will get there.
