End of Marriage? Its Valentines day Thursday! :0(

I have been really struggling with this one.
I met my husband 4 years ago, we married last April and he now has moved out and wants a divorce. He is moving quite fast on this one and I still love him, after everything he has done.

I am seeing a solicitor on Thursday, which I am compiling loads of paperwork to take with me. So thanks Atilladahun and Mike for your help in getting me to do this!

However, I am still so shocked this is happening and I keep jumping every text and call on my phone thinking its him to say he's made a terrible mistake and can he come back! I know in my head that isn't going to happen but my heart is yearing.

And what about Valentines day? The first Valentines day since we've been married? What will you all be doing? Is there a valentines day evening out for us members? Only joking, but really what are we going to do? I might get online here on Thursday.
Feel free to send any valentine cards to me, it will cheer me up.

I'm just numb from all of this.

Hiya loops. Its early days for you. Valentines day thursday? Of course its hard for you. You thought like many of us that this was it. Forever. But it wasnt to be. I am sorry. All that glitters is not gold. You may think that he as moved on. But most dont so easily. If he has however it could be becuase he was not yours to start with. Dont waste a moment on someone so fickle with your feelings. You deserve so much better. He could not have been that commited to give you a marriage that lasted such a short time. Its hard for all of us at 1st but time is a great healer. Move on at your own pace. You will feel better once the divorce is over with. Be strong, Chris.

And come onto wiki tomorrow night looplou - i'm sure there will be a few of us on here. My ironing isn't going to keep me busy all night

Loopy, Valentines is just another day. Its what happens on every other day of the year thats important. It always amazes me that people put on such a big show for one day and then treat their partners like s*** for the other 364!

It will all work out, try to be positive.
