You are right, it's good to know you aren't the only one with the same sort of experiences going on. My ex-to-be also has requested he take the girls away in the summer (and over our wedding anniversary). This is hurtful and I'm finding it difficult to deal with too. He is also in the process of moving into a new home this weekend (he had been living with his parents since we separated) and right now I feel that I can't cope with any more. I too, am struggling with sepression, brought on since he left me, but for the kids sake I am trying to be positive about my 'new' life when all the time I just want to crawl under a rock and stay there. Keeping busy has definitely helped me to deal with loneliness that I am struggling to deal with, and I have re-decorated the bathroom and now have started on my bedroom (both of which we had planned to do together). Now I have my mark on the house and am trying to turn it into my home, not ours. Keep you head up, Zanth, it's not easy, I know, and some times will be better than others, but you deserve to do something for YOU!;)
