What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

(((Redwine)))) Some times of the year are harder, as you say it''s family times that are the worst. Your mum will always be with you xxx

The roller coaster ride goes on for a while, 2 years for me, but yes I think there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Just look at how far you have actually come? Even if there''s a speck of light, that is good.....I think I can see one now....

:)xx :)

It isn''t the first sign of madness. Occasionally posts are detached from the original thread or the original post is removed so you are left talking to yourself. ;)
