My heart goes out to you. Don''t worry about what others think. If you feel like crying, then cry. You don''t have to hold it together for anyone. I admire your for the strength you''ve shown so far. It couldn''t have been easy. Take carexxxx

Ditto what everyone else has been saying, be easy on yourself. If its any consolation, I am crying all the time too and despair of living in a country where wearing sunglasses all day long is considered, er, strange.

This has been helping me - go to boots and buy the spray version of Rescue Remedy. Squirt twice into your mouth when you feel a wobble coming on, it might just get you through it.

And always keep a pack of tissues on hand! I''m fed up blowing my nose on coffee shop napkins.......

Xx

Thank you all, I will let you know how I get on tomorrow.
I usually manage to NOT cry when I fill up, by thinking about something else or going off to find something to do. Going to be difficult to do that at a funeral but maybe if I hum a tune in my head I will be OK.

Ex OH has to stand up and do a speech so I''m not sure he will get through it all.

Going to be a sad old day.

Well I still didn''t cry, helped by the fact that it was a very Catholic service and I never knew when to stand, sit or what to say when everyone else did their responses.
So it was OK.

Ex OH is now in deep depression again though.

Well done - not so much for not crying - but for going. Well done for acting with such decorum and dignity.
