Feeling a tad stressed today....been an odd weekend and when i feel im finally getting somewhere with my ex for him to have midweek contact wth his son he goes silent again!..
Why is it they kick up for more contact then when its there in black and white...its not convient to them...they cant possibly finish work early to pick him up....yet i do....thank god ive got a good boss....

Sorry you''re stressed over this. Unfortunately you''re not alone.

One friend''s ex used to say he was coming over and regularly let his children down.

You are doing the right thing putting your child first. Possibly your ex is having trouble getting his head around the arrangements! Keep on being a good mum, but if your ex persists in this behaviour it might be worth keeping a log just in case you have to give evidence...

I hope for your child''s sake (and your stress levels), your ex gets his act together.

Take your child somewhere nice and enjoy yourselves;)

i have tried every avenue...it was in statement of arrangements that he wss to pick our son up 2 times a week from school and have him friday 6pm to sunday 9am...weekends he sticks to but hes reamined silent on statemnet of arrangements because he wanted the Nisi to go through and not be involved with the court...
Last year he kicked up before divorce proceeding began and said he wanted more but when its there he cant be bothered with him...seems he only wants him when its convieient to him...sigh....

Im quite fortunate to be able to see my kids as often as I like.

Providing I give my stbx notice, I would love to have my kids durring the week but work gets in the way , and I have to work to be able to be a good Dad.

so alternate weekends it is.

I hope hes sees sense, time with the kids is so important, (to me anyhow)

I wish I had been more interested in the kids when I was in the marital home.

Im trying hard to make up for it.

keep smiling Cazza.
