Hi.

As soon as I feel I can put my head above parapet (so to speak ) it gets blown off....

When I was a kid, I rememember having to learn all these stupid bloody sayings....

Maybe it was a Northern thing....

Maybe a regional thing....

Maybe , maybe, maybe.....

My daughter when she was little at school would come out with some of these sayings, so much so that her young teacher would ask her were she had gotten these expressions from????

Even now when she comes out with something she will say " Hey, blame it on my Scouse Mum...."

The usual expressions that I am sure you are all familiar with....

Blood is thinker than water....

Infact I''ve just heard her talking to her Dad.

" If you don''t use it you loose it.."

Real old expression... Don''t know what context she was using it just now, coz just come down stairs....

"Walls have ears"

"Pen is mightier than the sword...."

Well now,despite everything.......

"Keep your friends close and your enemies even closer....."

It would drive me mad as a kid

BUT

By Christ these sayings are really coming to bite me on the bum......

Inow realize that no longer have I got a Husband to speak to....

I have no Son either.....

&

the little ***** I have bailed him out of so many problems..........,.

Which for the large part has caused this ruction between Hubby & I.....

I should have told him things that were going on

BUT
Decided to try & sort them out between Son & I...........

Money, unfortunately.....

Hey.

Here am I with f..k finance wise....

Getting myself into humungas debt on sons behalf....

When Hubby found out went bollistic....

How dare I not tell him what son had been up to??????

YES

really really wrong of me.....

Hubby BAILED us both out.....
That was 2yr ago.

Son up to ..... whatever again.....

Hubby bailed him out AGAIN.......

Then son did it again.....

Hubby went ape.....

Threw him out of house telling him never to darken our doorstep again.....

Me devastated.

I bailed him out yet again....
Moneywise......

I now owe thousands on credit cards....

All to help Son.......

WELL how does the DELIGHTFUL LITTLE DARLING REPAY ME ?????

He''s always been a Daddy''s Boy.....

Tells his Dad this morning what I had said to him regarding impending Divorce......

BY CHRIST, WAS HUBBY EAGER TO TELL ME , or rather....

ask me what I had told son this morning????

Son had told him, so it was a ......question......

Got to finish here coz daughter on the move....
Son on the move....

Husband ....

Well gob on him like " a well smacked backside.." YES another of my sayings.

Love them all to bits, despite everything.

WELL ok my 2 children.....

Here I go again spouting on & on.....

Like so many parents before us - we could never have envisaged our lovely darling babies could grow to cause us so much grief. I have lain of the sofa screaming in emotional agony at the behaviour and loss of my daughter. I remembered a poem today that I used to recite to her. How in hell''s name did we get from there to here - and how in hell''s name do we survive? Hang on honeybee - I don''t have a cure for your pain - but I do hope I have some balm for your feeling of isolation.

The Baby

Where did you come from baby dear?
Out of the everywhere into here.

Where did you get those eyes so blue?
Out of the sky as I came through.

What makes the light in them sparkle and spin?
Some of the starry spikes left in.

Where did you get that little tear?
I found it waiting when I got here.

What makes your forehead so smooth and high?
A soft hand stroked it as I went by.

What makes your cheek like a warm white rose?
I saw something better than any one knows.

Whence that three-cornered smile of bliss?
Three angels gave me at once a kiss.

Where did you get this pearly ear?
God spoke, and it came out to hear.

Where did you get those arms and hands?
Love made itself into bonds and bands.

Feet, whence did you come, you darling things?
From the same box as the cherub''s wings.

How did they all just come to be you?
God thought about me, and so I grew.

But how did you come to us, you dear?
God thought about you, and so I am here.
