What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Hate to admit it but I really am not coping at all well with this....

22.15hrs & I''m a weeping blubbering mess YE T AGAIN!!!!

Only good thing out of this is that :-
1) Hubby has gone to bed, so cant see state of me....
2) Son has gone to work so, can''t see state of me.....
3) Daughter is back down in....So can''t see state of me...
4)Dogs, thankfully can''t speak, so will not tell of state of me...

Hey Folks, the "Little Sweetheart"got me here "in the land of fruit & honey"

The world was going to be our oyster...

Instead, what do I end up with????????

BUT I WILL COME OUT STRONGER FROM ALL OF THIS.........

I WILL COME OUT STRONGER FROM ALL OF THIS.....

I will stay strong & listen to the words of my SOL.
I know it will cost
BUT

If it means I will have the finces to survive then so be it......

The little Sweetheart was looking at flats/houses to buy in this area (2 bedroom ) for £120,000 min.

Is telling me that that is all he will be able to afford. AND
if I want to be able to buy outright with no mortgage then hey, that''s what I''ll have to do.....

There is no way I''m going to buy a property that after 15.00hrs on a winters day its a no go area.....

He can think again.....

Can''t. Just can''t , just can''t, just can''t cope with it at this moment in time...

You can you can. Tell yrself these words. You can do this. If you got into this you can get out of it. Sure it didnt turn out the way you planned. But does everything? No. So use your brains and back out of this mess. You can do it sister. C.
