There have been a lot of posts just recently concerning their children being subjected to having to visit their NRP whilst the new partner is there. Having to accept presents and feel so happy for either their mother or father and the new life they have made for themselves.
What on earth can these selfish people be thinking. I just makes me wonder. It is so childish and insensitive.
They seem to have no regard whatsoever for putting their children in such an awkward situation.
I just hope that when they begin to realise what they have done or are doing the guilt will never leave them.
These poor children do not know what to do for the best.
Please mummy or please daddy??? What a disgraceful attitude.

Hi Zara. Its common that people use chidren as pawns in divorce. Divorce = war. And when you go to war you use all resorces available to you. But I think this practice is bound to affect children later on in life. I remember sitting in the dining room during one of the double acts between my youngest ex step daughter and my ex wife thinking "what is this doing to her?" But there was nothing I could do about it. It is a shame and she was 14 at the time. The lesson is this is how we dispose of someone I dont want anymore. Bad but thats divorce foryou. C
