Hi fellow travellers
Well !,
Got it .
Divorce Absolute in my back pocket . Arrived yesterday .
Is it the magic pill I thought it would be . Initially I thought i had won the lottery . It''s done over finished I''m now officially single. However , it''s just the start of my new exciting life ahead . So , now the real work begins . Spent so much time looking back lost sight of where the heck I am going .
Guess it''s been like driving a car looking in the rear view mirror all the time . You turn around look ahead and think heck where am I .

I guess looking back I have moved ahead not really seen it though .some say stronger .
So I have a piece of expensive A4 paper in my hand . Does that sum up my life. The hell it does . It should read this person had a successful marriage for 29 years and has been awarded a medal of honour . Three healthy children making their own way in life . Financially secure healthy active person still who wears his battle scars with pride . Has time to give of himself at the local hospital for benefit of others and himself . Is still a member of the workforce . House nice car money in bank a pain in the arse off my case. No debts. Mates . Footy . Radio station work . Plays acoustic guitar in fact has three.

So my friends why do I sometimes feel something is not right . Any one got an answer?
Thank you for reading

Warm thoughts

D

Congratulations mate - although you do need to change your status on your profile ;-)

Of course it is going to feel strange after 29 years but as you say its a whole new journey. Enjoy the road trip

I always like to say I am never lost - just went somewhere that I wasnt planning to go to.

Life is like that. We take a wrong turn. we double back. but we do move forward.

Just because you are now officially divorced doesnt mean you have to spend the remaining journey alone...

Declan - no-one wants to go where we have been. If we are honest at times we wouldnt wish this on our worst enemy.

Until someone has shared what you have been through they can never understand - and this is why this site is a godsend for you, me, everyone.

We are a family and familes stick together

Nice profile change by the way :-)
