Ive just cried buckets for nearly two years now and makes me so negative that just want it to stop. But I got to be proud of what I achieved in a year and also did a good christmas for my daughter. I see it from the otherside now as only experienced happy christmases. Thanks everyone for support today.
I really feel your pain - I think we all do on here.
Divorce is such a long rocky road and just when you think you''re getting there you have another blip.
This time of year is especially emotional, so I''m sure once the festive period is over you will feel less lonely and hopefully look forward to a more positive new year.
I do think it''s healthy to cry and its better to let it all out than bottle it up. The crying will stop. I had bouts of crying every day for the first few months but then a long spell without shedding a single tear. It felt great. Had a few more blips and tearful days but luckily I''m back on track again at the minute.
I have a male friend who''s going through a divorce. He told me he hasn''t shed a single tear yet after 8 months! But then I got a message from him yesterday which broke my heart. He said that its suddenly hit him and he feels so down and its tearing him apart and he just wants to press a fast forward button and come out the other side. I told him that he has to let it all out and have a good cry. He did and he felt much better!
I think we''ve all been there when we feel like we just can''t get through it, but it does get easier and the good spells will get longer and more frequent - they really will.
Hope you feel better soon and have a much better 2015.
I get where you are coming from there fella . Grieving process is a process that is not a one size that fits all .
You will stop when the time is right for you .
Just know that you are not alone and there is so much support on here for you when you reach out for it .
