I developed some mental health issues and my wife decided she was better off without me, left and applied for divorce on the grounds of behaviour.

I have continued with my own MH struggles and continue to work and exist on a day to day basis.

I am undergoing treatment with the main issues including a crippling anxiety.

I am finding it difficult to progress my paperwork and I had trouble working towards the last mediation - and way before that and for some time I've just had general trouble getting to any divorce paperwork.

I am minded to ask if anyone helps with this but I guess the answer is 'a lawyer' but I can't afford one. What can I do?

So sorry to read your post and you certainly need help. That is a blow which would leave most people reeling. You don't mention any medical support but if you haven't already done so, do go and talk to your GP and tell him what you've told us.

Everything connected with divorce is stressful and if you're suffering with anxiety issues it's all the more so. The obvious answer is to go to a lawyer but very many people can't possibly afford to. You're not alone in that. If you're struggling with the paperwork, do you have relatives or friends to help you?
