HI K4rl welcome to Wiki,

My understanding was that you would do a normal divorce and then your wife would just sign it when you put 2 years as one of the reasons. I might be wrong and if I am someone will be along shortly to correct me.

I would also be keen to know if I am right or not as it will apply to me soon

yes you are right (i think) but doing it that way you have to apply for the divorce i have been advised to get something in writing to say she agrees to the divorce to avoind further cost.
cheers for your help

I see. but surely you can't legally divorce based on a signed letter? Is there no Petition Nisi and absolute?
