What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Hello

Hope someone can give me some insight...

STBX has received the Acknowledgement of Service along with the divorce petition and statement of arrangement for children.

I know he''s supposed to return them to the court within 7 days, but I''m just wondering what he actually sends back .... is it all three documents?

Maybe a silly question, but I just want to know for sure what he is supposed to be doing! lol

Thanks in advance

M

Seems like a reasonable question to me.

He sends back the D10 acknowledgment of service and the statement of arrangements for the children.
