Ex has tried to delay divorce but not acknowledging service - also trying to get me to agree to her terms for financial split in exchange for divorce. I don''t agree to her terms.
Am now applying for Decree Nisi and then, if she still hasn''t come to her senses, I want to get the Absolute pushed through. Is it OK to get financial split sorted after absolute?
Basically, through my choice I am walking away with nothing but my pension and clothes on my back. She keeps two expensive mortgage free houses, a holiday home and a cash rich business. Her boyfriend moved in the day I moved out (four years ago) and she is demanding I pay the costs of transferring property into her name. She is set up for life and all I want is to hang on to my pension (which is less than the average salary). I''ve agreed already via solicitors she keeps everything but the greedy woman wants me to pay for that too.
I''m adamant I don''t want to pay for this.
Can I still get my absolute without the F/O being in place?
Yes I know - I just want to get on with my life. I''ve met someone new we are happy and in time I will inherit so I know that I will eventually be OK. I just want rid of her. She''s kept me dangling to keep her options open and last year when I said I wanted a divorce the cheeky c@w, told me she wasn''t ready and she takes her marriage vows seriously (lol).
