What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

New to all this. Been separated for just over a year. Was waiting for 2 years separation to apply for divorce. But I met a lady and we are now expecting a child :)
So, I would like to move things along a bit quicker.

TBH, I have absolutely NO MONEY! and so am looking for the cheapest option. HOWEVER, some of the cheapest options get TERRIBLE reviews. So, I''m looking for the cheapest BUT good service lol.

Are wikivorce''s services recommended. Or is it silly asking that on this site?

Also, any other advice would be nice ty :)

You can read testimonials on the services section, you are right to be careful with some srvices for sure, have you found any complaints about Wikivorce on the net? I doubt you will, for what it worth I used the service with no problems, it is what it is and does what it says, the key difference is that it''s managed by solicitors and not so called case managers.

You could always try and call the wiki line it''s free, they can talk
about any concerns you have, you can also search the wiki search bar and look for others who have asked similar questions in the past.
