What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Hi,
The divorce between me and my ex is being held up because he apparently missed off a bit in his d10 form. He swears blind he filled it in correctly but I''m guessing the courts would have accepted it if he had lol. Anyway, I haven''t seen a d10 form so I was wondering what the questions are. He apparently ticked a box bu then didn''t write either yes or no after so it was rejected. Can anyone tell me what he may have done or have a link so I can read a blank form? Thanks. Driving me mad cos he''s been accusing me of dragging my heels

What grounds did you use for the divorce?

Okay, he will not only say he does not intend to contest the divorce, he will also have to admit to the adultery on the D10.

I don''t think we can tell you what he did wrong, without seeing what he wrote.
