What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

I''m confused - hope someone can help
I have my Decree Nisi and there are 2 children under 18 involved but I did not receive the D84B or the D66 form - should I have got either one of these with the nisi?

Is it possible to make the nisi Absolute without one of the D84B or D66 forms and if not, how do I get the relevant document/form?

Thanks for any help.......

All that matters is that you have the Decree Nisi, those forms maybe lost in the post, it does not matter you have the Nisi and having that means you can apply for the Absolute when the time is right.

Nope the court issue those forms they don`t ask for them.

All that is required for Absolute is the Nisi and form D36, plus £45.
