What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Hi
After long delays I have been advised to complete Forms D80E and D84.
I am the petitioner and the case is undefended. I am puzzled by Section A in form D84 which states:

"The Petitioner’s statement in support of the divorce / dissolution / nullity / (judicial) separation is lodged with this application."

Does this mean I have to include another statement. I have already provided a statement with the D11 form.

Would be grateful for any advice.
Many thanks

D80E is your statement in support of the divorce, as both D forms are submitted together there's no need for you to submit any further statement in support of your divorce application.
