What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Me and my husband are separated going through divorce but living in same house . I moved out of our bedroom into spare room but I have gone back into our old bedroom to retrieve some clothes etc and discovered a hidden spy camera
it makes me very uneasy as I don't know if there are any more in the house and if it's picking up audio when I'm talking on landing or in my room. I don't know where I stand legally with this?

This is completely unacceptable and probably illegal. I cannot think of an innocuous explanation.

I would consider speaking to the police non emergency line for advice, ideally using a friend's phone away from the house.
