What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

Hi,
I have applied for Decree Nisi 2 times, both times it got rejected stating that place of marriage is different in Marriage certificate. second time, I ticked 'yes' in sec-2 and mentioned detailed marriage place on form d80d, it got rejected again with same reason, I sent an email to court on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. but there is no reply on that.
Can somebody please help?? what am I doing wrong here? do I have to flag/mark somewhere so that judge see the sec-2 in form d80d
on the divorce application, place is exactly same with some extra area information.

Are you putting the place of marraige in the petition application exactly as it appears on the marraige certificate? Word for word?

If the place on the certificate is Registry office, First Floor, 1 Hight Street, Anytown, Anyshire AV1 2AS then that is what you need to put in the nisi application.

divorce petition was filed, accepted by other party and now applied Decree Nisi with d84 and d80d. but rejected stating that place of marriage is different in Marriage certificate.
