What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

I moved out of the rented property last November and have paid rent and bills for my ex until June when the tenancy ends and I plan to take my name of the tenancy, divorce agreed. we are now trying to sort finances via mediation or solictors, we have no children, no property, ex was not working when I left, but is now working I believe only part time, Should have to continue to support her? Is mediation better than solictor?
