What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Do you need help sorting out a fair financial settlement?

Our consultant service offers expert advice and support to help you reach agreement on a fair financial settlement quickly, and for less than a quarter of the cost of using a traditional high street solicitor.

:unsure:Sorry if this is a stupid question. My x had a RBS Gold mastercard and a RBS mastercard (blue). He tells me they are the same account, sorry but as everything on the computer was password protected, and i wasn,t allowed to open or see his post that after opening in secret would be shredded, i,m unsure.

It seems unlikely that there are 2 credit cards for 1 accou t in my mind? But not sure, you could give the bank a ring (for a general enquiry - as you. Ay not have an account number etc & don''t want to raise suspicion)

Good luck JJx

I have two credit cards with the same bank, they are for two separate accounts though, when i was married the ex and i had a card each but both were from my current account, something i did not realise until the bank told me i was liable for her credit card.
