What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Do you need help sorting out a fair financial settlement?

Our consultant service offers expert advice and support to help you reach agreement on a fair financial settlement quickly, and for less than a quarter of the cost of using a traditional high street solicitor.

Hello me again.B).I just wanted to share some thoughts from my first marathon experience the other day for anyone who might be mildly interested..it was a fantastic day...an event..having watched and supported others in the past so different to be actually participating this year.. I managed to set off at good pace...did first mile in 11 minutes second in 13 third in 14..then stopped for loo why did i wait 20 minutes? I only wanted a wee..!! found it really hard to get back into a rythymn again after that but..so many people cheering me on shouting come on David come on Dave...cmon davey..!!really kept me going..the children with their sweets and chocs..the parents with their encouragement high fives and slaps on the back..the music....then my wall came at Westferry Circus about mile 14..stopped to use loo...came out felt sick dizzy weak..and for first time i thought i dont know if i can finish this bloody race.. but then my family were there with bananas sandwiches muesli bars and hey presto I was ready to conquer canary wharf...and even go all the way round Canada square following the blueline only to discover i should have turned right saving a good quarter mile....whatever..!!so many highs and lows in the day...sunshine then showers...laughter and tears...light and shade...the highlight? a young boy about seven years old in Bermondsey ...no hair..ran up to me...gave me a hug and ran back into the crowd....unreal....made up for the palpitations that i suffered after 5 miles which meant I had to walk most of the rest of the race...crossing the finshing line with my two fantastic lady friends so proud of all them ...the sheer grit and determination of ordinary people and the fantastic support of so many ...made it an unbelievable day..;)sunday april 22 2012 !!
