I have no contact with my stbx (his choice) but I recently put a ppi claim in and have had an offer. Problem is bank have said they will not release funds unless it''s signed by both of us. Have tried to contact ex but he''s just ignoring me. Don''t think he needs the money but I really do. Does anybody know a way round this?

Unfortunately its seen as joint and will need you both to sign for it to be released, but then the question is - how will it be divided between you %?

Have you discussed the finances yet?

Hi whiterose
Finances are in process of being sorted, waiting on an actuaries report because of pensions. Taken a year to even get to this point tho because if him keep changing his mind about things

As for the ppi split, if he ever signs it, I''m thinking of doing a 50/50 split but I want to hold back money he owes me, going to run it past my sol first tho
