Beneficiaries of a Will?? was created by Gingerkitty
Hi All
When someone dies leaving a Will, are the beneficiaries informed by letter that they are to inherit or do you have to make representations to the Executors to ask if you are a named beneficiary?
As if divorce isnt enough - HELP???

Since it is the duty of an executor to give effect to the terms of a will, it's hard to see how they could discharge the duty without informing the beneficiary.

There is nothing wrong is asking an executor what the terms of a will are.

You can even get a copy of the probate without asking anyone.
