What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Do you need help sorting out a fair financial settlement?

Our consultant service offers expert advice and support to help you reach agreement on a fair financial settlement quickly, and for less than a quarter of the cost of using a traditional high street solicitor.

Hello all,

So, ive been in a kinda wiki hibernation for a while but thought it was about time i provided an update with a bit of added information many of you may or may not be interested in.

I wont bore you with my story or my partners but lets just say we have both had a rubbish time in the past. Im twice divorced and my better half is still on the seperation rollercoaster. Both of us were cheated on through numerous times during those marriages.

Ive been on wiki quite some time now and seen some horrible situations turn around in the end. Many of you, especially newbies will think there is just no end but believe me there is! Life moves forward and nobody can stop time. I now believe in Karma because im happier than i could of ever imagined, and looking forward to our future together.

Ok, ok enough rambling. I wanted to let you all know that on the 19th July on ITV we will be on the ''Lorraine show'' taking part in a Paul Mckenna reunion of sorts. Paul helped her deal with the upset and emotional side of her divorce.

There will also be a spin off article written for a well known laydees magazine called ''Womans Own''.

Im sure some of you may find this interesting (some maybe not), but sometimes hearing that people do come out the other side and find happiness can give you a boost...i know many times we felt whats the blimin point of this relationship malarky as so many friends were/are going through divorce. Its so easy to just lose faith in everything.

Anyway once again i wanted to thank all those wikis who helped/supported me over the years and i know that goes for my partner too. This is a very special community and will always be very special to us.

Take care all

DA and Killbill xx
