What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

It was my son''s graduation day yesterday and it was lovely.
I was so proud when he went up to receive his degree and I did not have any contact with stbx. Saw him across the Abbey but managed to avoid him.

Fantastic day!

What a shock, now how did i know that ;)

What`s important though is the lad did well and with a touch of luck is now set up to move on and earn a decent wage, thanks to the bank of mam, though its supposed to be the bank of mam and dad :(

You must be psychic Dukey.

My son has already secured a good job with prospects and has a lovely flat with his girlfriend. My only wish now is he achieves his dreams and does all the things in life that he enjoys.

He is definately on the right track and now I only have to get my daughter to the same position as she starts uni in October.

It is all worthwhile as I am sure everyone only wants the best for their children.
