What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Honey,

I''ve sent you a friend''s request - you should have a "new friend''s request" alert at the top of your screen. Click on the alert, then select either accept or ignore.

To get to your pm inbox, the easiet qway is to click on the "my wikivorce" tab at the top of the page, then on where it says "you have no new private messages" or " you have x new private messages" (mine always says no new pms :() and that will take you to your inbox - and your outbox accessible by clicking "sent" when on this screen.

Hope this helps :)

Ruth
