What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Do you need help sorting out a fair financial settlement?

Our consultant service offers expert advice and support to help you reach agreement on a fair financial settlement quickly, and for less than a quarter of the cost of using a traditional high street solicitor.

Is it just me? Maybe it shouldn''t matter what gender wikis are (of course it doesn''t) but I find myself flummoxed when people use names or photos that suggest one thing and then read the posts and realise they are another!

Or maybe I am just easily confused at the moment!

Haway is probably the best one for sorting out gender issues - they are topical with him at the moment. Apparently he has just come back from Thailand where he found himself in an ''interesting'' situation !

See his recent post if you haven''t already ! LOL

It''s not just you, Eliza - I''ve done that many times myself  Sometimes people do use usernames that don''t make clear if the owner is male or female - for ages I used to think that Mitchum was man...

PS - you are a man,right? :silly:

Oh dear, think I fall into this category, ;)

My avatar does not display my gender, just my hopes for "my" acceptable toy boy, should he ever pop into wiki

If you look at the "online" list of members - on the community page, to the left of the posts, there is a little pink or blue icon next to each username, indicating if they are male or female. And each member''s profile page also states their gender.

Yes, thanks, I keep doing that when I realise with a shock that I was thinking the wrong thing!
