Hello I am hoping somebody can help me on what steps I can next take.I have received a letter from my sons ex-wife''s
solicitors over access to our grandson.the letter states a few things about my son and his ex,and explains that an order was in place to allow my son access of two hours a week which as far as I am concerned was broken by his ex,the letter states that his ex''s solicitors have been advised that one session took place and that my son had effectively said that he no longer wishes to have a relationship with his son if he could not have his ex back ( I know this not to be true as I was there when my son visited ).It also states that an incident happened in January this year involving my son and his ex, this is the last time we have seen our grandson .it also states that I have approached their clients farther and partner several times in an attempt to reinstate
contact it says that I have a tendency of bribing my grandson by purchasing gifts for him for the purpose of contact ( the only gifts that have been brought where Xmas ,birthday, and Easter) also in the letter it says that his ex is prepared to agree to indirect contact ,plus they advise that there client is not happy for us to contact her farther ( this is were I have to take the presents and any letters or cards ) making demands for direct contact ( this is something that I have never done)and she is willing to take me to court for harassment .
I could really do with some good advise as it seems a lot of things are being said that are total lies
PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP
I could be wrong but if the accusation is that you are harassing your sons ex''s father it is he that could take you to court for harassment. If your son''s ex-FIL is not happy with you contacting him that''s between you and him.
A grandparent buying gifts for a grandchild...well that''s kind of what they are there for.
Your son needs to get his own contact
sorted out ASAP
