Well done with the 10k HAFB! Its addictive isn''t it?! Once you run that distance it''s only a matter of training & eating well to get you longer distances if you want. I imagine you have lots of fun run events too which are great. I just did an obstacle mudrun in Sydney & am signing up for a Colour run with the kids (coincides with Holi & involves getting coated in powdered paint). I am going to sign up for another half marathon too.

Congratulations on your mud run, envious that you did it in Sydney. My mate did one here in the UK nothing but rain and more rain in August !
She has challenged me to do it next year,we will see, more of a road runner.

Go and sign up for another half marathon...I''m out again tomorrow pounding the roads ready for March. Difference between us it will be about -1 outside yours will be yep hot!

All the best happy Xmas and all the best for 2015 x

Well the half marathon day is nearly here and I''m really worried that I have not done enough training.

I have a few more weeks before plodding the streets.

Wish me luck with what''s left of the training x

Don''t over train in the final wks. Your body needs to be fresh going into it and then just set off slow and resist the temptation to be swept along too quick at the beginning.

Its easier running in the cold as long as it doesn''t get windy and the run will keep you warm.

Take on your fluids and some kendle mint cake is fantastic at keeping you going. Just make sure you eat it before you feel the need to as by then its too late.

Good luck.
