A very random post indeed, what can I say I’m a very random person, definitely beats the squirrels in the attic
Thank you for the welcomes! Great to be hear and you guys are pretty informative and super nice!
I even looked for a long little spy vacuum, you know the ones they use on spy movies? But soon found out that I might as well buy a new cooker for that price.
Great suggestion! I could by bigger sauce pans, which I think would help with spillage and if I could be more careful then it could be a solution.
Cardboard would work with blue-tac, but my other half would not approve and since I am a team-player I can’t ignore her, despite wanting to lol. Maybe she would be more accepting of wood? Hmmmm..
I’m unsure of what free-cycle means, I’ve not familiar with this term?
I like Charles suggestion of Smith’s Silicone Gap Covers

They look neat and I think they are the front runner at the moment.
Yup, it’s a huge gap, I’ve tried moving the cooker, but then one side is bigger than the other lol.
Glad I brightened up your day Afon!
I totally agree Ruby, you guys are full of great informative responses and don’t worry this is not a wind-up
PS. I tried to reply to fit everyone who was kind enough to reply in the above post.
