What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Just wondering what kind of exercise you guys use to let off steam?

They do say that exercise is a great way to rid anxiety etc, I''ve tried cycling before and that was pretty good, just have to find the time!

Walking is good especially if you have good scenery to look at or a friend to chat too.And it''s free!
I also enjoy working in the garden.I then get exercise and can sit and view my efforts afterwards.

Definitely! Surrounding yourself with nature is so good for the soul. I find Pilates helps too.

It depends o your age and fitness level of course.

Personally I like pounding the streets with a run or a hard cycle to release my tensions and de-stress.

Whatever suits. I did do kick boxing when I first split
