What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Do you need help sorting out a fair financial settlement?

Our consultant service offers expert advice and support to help you reach agreement on a fair financial settlement quickly, and for less than a quarter of the cost of using a traditional high street solicitor.

What his royalness has failed to mention is he walked away with six, i say again six bin bags.

So the question we must now all ask is was it really that bad? i mean whole bags of cloths, i think we can all agree it was overall a perfectly reasonable settlement :)

Oh thats it rub it in why don`t ya :(

That said for what EL Tel charged you could have hired George Foreman to come over and make you toasties and then spent a couple of weeks somewhere hot and sandy, you know like your ex does...............

Still your over it now, i mean its not like you had the final account tattooed on your butt so you would never forget or anything.

Good on you pete!

Sometimes she needs to be put in her place, and I have to say the karma bus has probably parked in her lounge if she is as miserable as she sounds.

My deal will be as bad as yours I reckon...and I only had 4 bin bags. oh and my bike, had to get to work somehow! Oh right and a falling down rental with 13K equity in it after she remortgaged it to the hilt a few years back..too bad my debts are 15K!

My ex replied to a text the other day when i made it sound like she would not gain anything if she didn't. Same as when she woulnd't chase someone who owes us money until she realised she would get a refund. The woman who calims money was never a motivator!
