I have to confess, I''ve done something that is probably totally rash, but way outside of my comfort zone... I''ve signed up for a stand up comedy workshop that is to take place in March. What on earth have I done! Will I go through with it, or will I have to give my ticket to his lordship Haway?

No, I''ll probably go through with it, since it''s something way outside of my comfort zone. Plus, if I had done this when I was married, my ex would have been grumbling and saying that I would make an idiot out of myself. Now, I''m free of all that nonsense, and I can make a fool out of myself without any comeback. Hooray!

All ideas about topical gags (regarding divorce, life and otherwise) and jokes appreciated.

I might have to try self-depreciation, but I''m not very good at that...

A little joke for you, not great but....

I thought my wife was spending a lot of time on match.com, then I realised she must be looking for FA Cup final tickets for a birthday treat.

Hey JJones!

You say "I might have to try self-depreciation, but I''m not very good at that..."

Mate, don''t run yourself down . . . when other people do it so much better.

Well, you did say you wanted jokes :-)
