I came across this why looking for something else. I haven''t vetted the whole site but on first perusal I thought it had potential for humour.

Thanks sun flower, a good laugh around Christmas is always welcome. With that very much forefront of mind I make the following comments:

I reckon our bull sh*t classics would lend themselves to cartoons. Example (a screamer borrowed from Patsy) - Cartoon Cheater is sitting at computer eyes glued to the screen on which the words ''dating site'' are clearly visible. Behind him stands the dumped long serving wife wearing suitable expression as Cheater shouts over his shoulder ''the affair?, well it just happened'' !

We could make one of those seasonal stocking filler books and call it glad tidings .. or a Christmas message .. or, thinking of the issues some have had with child support/contact ''we won''t go until we''ve got some so bring some out here''.

I know a lot of us felt like turkeys when we found out what was going on. As if that wasn''t enough we then got plucked over and stuffed by someone with the demeanour of Frosty the Snowman off in his (Winter) Wonderland ...

We wept buckets and looked like Rudolph the red nosed reindeer Rockin (and reelin in shock) around the Christmas tree !

By that stage many of us felt like roasting someone''s nuts on an open fire.

If only we had kept in mind Oh come all ye FAITHFUL when we were looking for a mate.

Worse was to come as we faltered and whispered "the night is darker now, and the wind blows stronger. Fails my heart I know not how, I can go no longer".

But, in the old saint Nick of time - Hark! The wikivorce Angels (and Haway). (No angel, but always right). The Good King Wikipeepses advised thus - "mark my footsteps good my friend, tread thou in them boldly, thou shalt find the winter''s rage freeze thy blood less coldly". And we did, gratefully.

Trudging wearily in the footprints of those wikis that went before us that Bleak Mid Winter, the frosty wind made (us) moan - alot, stuff like "Heat was in the very sod" (I am allowed to say that moderators, it''s in the carol). Yep, he was like a friggin dog on heat all right.

I would like to say thank you and merry Christmas to all the wiki guides that run this site and those that have stuck around to help others "ye who now will bless the poor, shall yourselves find blessing".

So after a Bleak Mid Winter, and many Silent Nights alone, finally we saw our ship come sailing in. Well, 3 of em actually - it''s like buses innit, you wait for ages then 3 come along at once.

And as we sail off on a new voyage, we recall what the pantomime dames remind us of every year, good will triumph over evil, always. Or, if you prefer, all is Karma all is bRight.

A new year is almost upon us.

Should Old Acquaintance be forgot?

In some cases, sh*t yeah ...

Yet, the words are haunting ...

"Should Old Acquaintance be forgot,
and never thought upon;
The flames of Love extinguished,
and fully past and gone:
Is thy sweet Heart now grown so cold,
that loving Breast of thine;
That thou canst never once reflect
On Old lang syne (old friendship)"

Nige, in humour and sadness and in fond memory of good times and bad memory of horrendous times ... all the contradictions that are the cycle of abuse.

Nah, like I said before, sh*t yeah, Nige :)
