When you''re going through divorce. It''s really important you keep eating or else you could die of starvation.
Potatoes are a great way of keeping yourself alive.
So on your roller coaster journey of divorce.
What''s your favourite type of potato?
All the best

Of course the stress of the awful divorce I went through and trauma I am still going through Potatoes keep me going.
My favourite type is not a king Edward it''s Mash - because every time I use the potato masher I imagine I am smashing someone - namely my ex .
No lumps in my mash!
What''s you''re favourite???
Ha!!! This is going to be interesting! X

Haway ????? Methinks you are being silly. Am I missing something here or are potatoes really the answer to our problems?

Since a recent mix up between a potato and a sweet potato, I''ve got trust issues.

Sometimes a potato just isn''t what it seems.....

Hard when you are relying on them to survive but I am very positive that one day I will be able to eat potatoes again.

Stay strong.

I did question whether Haway had been using his potatoes to make gin when I found this post at 4 o clock in the morning.

Let''s hope we all become the Spud we like!

Sweet potatoes are decidedly duplicitous since they are not potatoes at all. I find the best treatment for this kindof cheating is to attack with a sharp knife, toss in oil and shove into a very, very hot oven.

I know Pixy. I was really upset by the fact that something that really looked like a potato was not a potato at all. I put my faith in potatoes. I really felt like potatoes were the answer to many problems.

I really was betrayed by this duplicity. I don''t know if I will ever be able to trust again. I have been wronged and it''s not right that something that isn''t a potato should even be called a potato.

I''m not sure I could even bring myself to put a sweet potato near my oven. Although maybe boiling it in oil might be something I could bring myself to do with time space and therapy.

I''m not sure life will ever be quite the same again.

For all those ever been victim to this cruel trick stay strong and remember take one day at a time. I remain encouraged by tales on here that people can eat chips and even mash and I hope one day that I can do the same

You are all such a big inspiration and thanks to haway for starting this really important thread. It''s helped me loads to share this.

Thank you.
