Ok,

I've updated the list again and the playlist now has 50 songs with a play time of 3 hours and 20 mins!

I will play them with proud and enjoy the fun that has come out of this thread!

cheers

Okay, so I was intrigued enough to google Dylan from the magic roundabout. From what I can gather, he was a hippy, dopey, guitar playing rabbit!

Maybe more 'bob' Dylan these days then Declan.

Ok - first night on my own in 9 months and what do I decide to do ?
An 80's top 10 playlist of depressing songs obviously!

In no particular order.....

Everybody hurts - R.E.M.
Don't you want me - Human League
Don't leave me his way - Communards
When love breaks down - Prefab Sprout
Love to hate you - Erasure
The things you said - Depeche Mode
Always on my mind - Pet Shop Boys
I am the resurrection- Stone Roses
Missing you - John Waite
Do you really want to hurt me - Culture Club

But to end the evening on a high - Good Riddance - Green Day

Errr yes bubblegum that is indeed the very rabbit but now you describe him like that I feel I should apologise to Declan!!! It was the lovely laid back attitude that reminded me of him rather than any of the other aforementioned attributes,

Myself ? - definitely more Ermintrude.

Nice to have a playlist of that nature .
Word of caution though I personally would not revel too much in those ballards . Our set list consist of a few ballers but also more upbeat stuff.

Have a positive happy list to hand as well . Then when feeling below par choose happy positive music . Change that mindset M

You can do this

Declan, whilst I agree my playlist might sound rather depressing I cannot tell you how much fun I had doing it. No kids to wake up for once, so blasted it all out to my hearts content. Cheered me up no end actually!

Feeling strangely positive at the moment so I promise the choices do not reflect my ( current ) mood....
