hi everyone
i know this may sound a little silly but i was wondering after my divorce is final do i go to miss ms or stay mrs ?? being mrs for such a long time i am really finding something which isnt that important at this moment in time seem a big deal to me. what started my thinking was yesterday i received a copy of a letter from my stbx solicitor in which he states ms B !! and boy did it hurt seeing it in black and white(is it crazy be being offended ?? ) i really feel like ringing his solicitor and telling them not to refer to me as ms !!!
oh i hate all this - it scares the hell out of me one day im in positive mood and the next its a black day but i keep moving forward
take care everyone
julie

Be whatever you like. It only matters to you so it''s your choice.

You can be whatever you choose, its all about personal preference.

Some women continue with Mrs, others choose Ms, and a few revert back to Miss.

I tend not to use a title but if pushed I use Mrs as Im not a spinster (Miss) and I don''t like Ms.

Its something you can take your time over deciding.

Hi jules - I guess it depends what your surname is going to be. I kept my surname in the end because I didn''t want a different name from my children - but it didn''t feel right using ''Miss'' with that name (though about 700 kids call me ''Miss'' on a regular basis!!!) so I used Ms a lot. Sometimes I use Mrs too....

Perhaps it really depends on the situation and my mood then!

Hope this helps :D

Hi julesgy,

I don''t think anybody bothers about that these days. Everyone usually gives their first and last name except when filling in forms.

If it''s bothering you then train for a PhD and call yourself Dr.

(Or maybe take up weight lifting, kick boxing, get gender reasignment and call yourself Mr.)

:P

BTW? Why does my wife still wear her wedding ring when she''s out with OM?

That''s either shame or guilt or something?

Either way it''s SICK!
